Desktop Support Executive

Job Description

On behalf of our client, a leading provider of cloud solutions to local and international customers, we are currently recruiting a Desktop Support Executive to form an important part of the team dealing with customer requests, both remotely and on-site.

The selected individual would have a good understanding of computer hardware, cloud computing, networking technology and computer applications and operating systems to be able to resolve customer issues in a timely and successful manner.

He or she would be able to employ troubleshooting skills for every customer call and be an analytical thinker, to use the information available to arrive at real solutions or escalate and track the issues according to established practices.

A diploma or degree in IT or a related subject, or relevant experience together with Cisco or Microsoft certifications are required.
